Bio

666chainz is the project of Metro Detroit based musician Kenny Wamser. In 2014, he was first shown to public eye from the social media platform Vine, which generated him millions of views due to his wild six second videos, including the meme outbreak “barbecue sauce” Vine. He started to release his own DJ mixes and original comedic mashups to Soundcloud that year, which gained positive attraction and praise from social influencers like Rebecca Black for his sarcastic humor. That positive reaction inspired him to be comfortable with posting his own original music for the public to hear.

In October 2015, he released his preview EP ‘idkaboutu’, which featured three original tracks and a cover of Kesha’s ‘The Harold Song.’ On July 5th, 2016, the year after he came out to his family, he then released his first scheduled project ‘me n my pride’ which consisted of seven original tracks with a trippy, experimental pop sound. In early 2017, Kenny released the Greyson Chance influenced track ‘Little London Boy’ and then took a break from scheduled releases for a minute. His project ‘dear diary,’ that he previewed for a limited time on Soundcloud in December 2016, was officially released on April 20th, 2018 with 10 original tracks with production credits from Charlie Shuffler to Nedarb.

Since 2018, Kenny has dealt with two major heartbreaks that influenced a whole new wave of personal, musical emotion and shaped who he is today. He removed his full projects and announced that he wanted to take a different direction stating that the projects would be re-released. He officially released his longly anticipated, emotional single ‘Where Have You Been?’ on March 7th, 2019, which was an emotional pop ballad about how love can be confusing sometimes. During the summer of ’19 he announced he was working on a new project that would be a batch of more pop ballads. His re-debut project ‘geeked off my gloom’ was released to the public on December 27th and includes the previously released singles ‘Summer School’ and ‘Ghost Town.’
