Bio
A Lovely Crisis is flipping the proverbial finger to the traditional “Pop Band image by challenging you to question where you stand. Raw energy, relentless and unbridled, that is mixed with a healthy dose of snarling punk attitude, A Lovely Crisis was named by Rolling Stone as a "Band to Watch" (September 2013).
A Lovely Crisis was formed in 2010 and brought together by a mutual love of old school punk and post-punk artists like Ramones, Green Day and Offspring, as well as their collective disdain for pop technology in music. ALC has earned a deserved reputation for their intense, energetic and lively performances, with powerful lyrics that touch on topics from bullying, to conflict and corporate greed. The band embarked on a series of regional dates, including performances with IAMDYNAMITE, The Bastard Suns, and they have opened twice for the legendary Misfits. ALC is currently recording their third studio album which is being produced by the legendary Chris #2 of Anti-Flag and White Wives.
