Addicted, the band...Where do we start? Four musicians that are each totally different, different walks, different in family traits, and spanning 3 decades of age. Each member has their own influences in music, from rock and metal, spots of jazz, and even good ol' entertainment music. Nothing says long live the drive quite like hard rock songs that are written about close personal experiences.

Although different, each member does have something in common...the intense desire, talent, and passion to express themselves through music. Each song is written from situations and experiences that all people can relate to. Not trying to "change the world" or sway anyone's beliefs, the band realizes the positive release and comfort music provides in life and wants to pass it on.

ADDICTED, the CD was written and created by Greg Smith and Rick Tschee. This was shortly after their chance meeting just before both men were at the screaming point at a lack of finding a perfect writing partner. Greg and Rick put this music together usually 500 plus miles away from each other as Greg was working in different states throughout the Midwest. During his home time breaks from work, Greg would go into the studio and record his vocal and acoustic rhythm tracks. He would then get them sent through email to Rick who would work out rhythm and lead tracks. Over the course of the CD production they would share ideas through numerous emails. Painstaking at times, it seemed that they could both agree on the final outcome, never settling, but rather paying attention to each songs every detail. Greg and Rick shared in recording the Bass and Drum tracks along with their recording technician Sam Maul at Shock City Studios in St. Louis, Missouri who also definitely shared in the vision along with very dedicated agent Laura Flynn. Now it was time to move forward.....

Five months later they had a product, the self titled CD, ADDICTED!!! Now it was time to find the other musicians and make this unit complete. Through a random meeting of mutual friends they were directed to a great guitarist who also happened to be an exceptional bassist. After two weeks of receiving the CD he came in and dominated the bass position. Joe Duggan, the new bassist, perfect fit, and extreme talent went into the studio and laid down a new bass track for the remix of the song 'Nevermind'.....Three down and one to go!!! Well...after five drummers and a short time later, the bands ad for a kick ass drummer was answered by a very young talented drummer. After his first audition with only a couple of days with the material, he, without a doubt, nailed the audition and shared the same dream and dedication as the rest of the band. Sabastian Nuedeck was the drummer they had been looking for and had the chops they needed.

Now without further ado, let us introduce the music of ADDICTED!!!
