Akilavue, pronounced (A Killer View), is a band with a strong presence, a persona and craftsmanship of everything deep rooted in the word that is rock n roll. A high caliber band with the talent and determination to back it up is willing to claim their stake on the uprising rock scene.
Excitement around this band exists due to its established line-up and the acclaim of their debut album, “Carousel.” The members of Akilavue are no strangers to experience in the music business. Vocalist, Doug Marshall, fronted Souls Harbor for many years sharing many large stages with acts such as SLAYER, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, MASTODON, KORN, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, BREAKING BENJAMIN, STAIND, GODSMACK, THREE DAYS GRACE,and many, many more.Davey Masteller is a well known regional bass player hailing from Hilton Head, SC with roots in Jazz and has been performing for most of his life. Drummer, Doug McCarthy was the former drum tech of the band, Boys Like Girls and also played with Epitaph/Sony National Recording Artist “The Higher” touring all over Asia, South Africa and the United States. Ryan Bennett and Gogi Randhawa on guitars and backup vocals, shared the stage together in their previous band, Dear Enemy, who made waves with 5 releases, 3 of which were produced by Corey Lowery of Saint Asonia. Dear Enemy also toured the US extensively and shared stages with acts such as Killswitch Engage, Alterbridge, Sevendust, Taproot, two years on the Vans Warped tour and many more. Their passion for music brought these five individuals together. Their work ethic and finely crafted songs will take them far in the music scene.
