Bio
I am a solo artist singing vocals and playing acoustic guitar and harmonica. I play Americana and classic rock, and I am critically acclaimed in both. I also write music and I have written about 160 songs in four years. Some of those songs have won Best Country.Folk awards and were #1 hit songs five times. The hits were not Billboard hits, they were on internet radio.
My favorite artists are the Beatles and I also play a Beatles Tribute, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Bob Dylan (or Zimmerman if you wish), just to name a few. I can convert almost any song to Americana and Beth from Jerome Promotions once told me that I do the best Americana she has ever heard. She called it "real and organic." I felt like a plant.
I started playing guitar and vocals when I was 10 years old. The first song I ever played on stage before about 1,000 people was "This Land Is Your Land" and I have been a Woody fan ever since. I play that song correctly. I still play that song. I also played in churches as part of the original folk mass movement for about 30 years on and off.
And I receive tons of complements for my vocals. After a church gig one fan told me that I sing like Burl Ives. I laughed and told him that I'm going to sing "Frosty the Snowman" from now on. But Burl Ives was a great folk singer so I was flattered. A fan once told me I give him chills when I sing and one told me I give him goosebumps. Even in church people turn around to tell me what a great singer I am. Sometimes I get a little embarrassed.
So that's it. That's what I do. Please check out my songs and thank you so much for reading this. Be sure to listen to Wild Horses. I am the best vocalist.
