all may have seemed quiet on the alacartoona front over the past two weeks but be assured, there was much movement in the trenches.  never one to rest on her firm, yet soft laurels, she has been booking new shows, planning a new theatrical event, writing new music and spoken word pieces, and discussing strategies with her board of wise counselors.

but in the end, what matters is now (or the very close to now, as in this evening).
