in case you hadn't heard, there's a new online arts journal in kansas city, kcmetropolis.org (kcm).  the wonderful folks at presentmagazine.com had been lending kcm server space since october of last year to help them get up and running, but now they're out on their own with a beautifully organized site featuring wide and detailed coverage of the stunningly diverse kansas city arts scene.

two of the writers at kcm focused their skills on alacartoona over the past several weeks.  vi tran, local actor and musician, reviewed a recent jardine's show, while scott easterday, front man for the expassionates, reviewed "night is the mirror."
