Sunday, Nov. 18 at 4 p.m.: Art of Jazz Concert featuring pianist Alan Broadbent. Hear seven-time Grammy® nominee Alan Broadbent perform with the CLC Monday Night Jazz Ensemble in a concert featuring his arrangements. Broadbent has long been a major force behind the scenes of jazz, whether it is accompanying Irene Kral on some of the most exquisite vocal albums ever recorded, contributing arrangements to Diana Krall, Natalie Cole, Jane Monheit and Sir Paul McCartney or playing piano with Charlie Haden’s Quartet West. The Los Angeles Times has called Alan Broadbent “one of the greatest living jazz pianists.” The CLC Tuesday Night Jazz Ensemble will also perform.

 

Concerts are presented in the Mainstage Theatre of the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts on the CLC Grayslake campus, 19351 W. Washington St. Concert tickets range from $4-6 for CLC staff and students/Alumni Association members/Seniors 65-plus (including a $1 JLC facility fee) to $5-8 for general admission.
