"Junior's Cave Music Interview with Artur D Late Winter (February 2012) Edition Music Now Spotlight by Isaac Davis Junior, BGS, MBA"

We had an amazing experience speaking to a diverse and talented rapper who creates lyrical magic in three different languages. We spoke to Artur D about his music and his journey to where he is at now with his craft. We explored many great things concerning the artist including his personal and professional struggles to bring his music to the masses. Here is his story.

Isaac: It’s an amazing time to be a DIY artist/performer/band/musician. What do you feel you contribute musically to the Indie Music Culture?

Artur: A different outlook on things and my unstoppable energy to keep striving. My background, the things that I've been through differ from the experiences that others made and so I hope to offer my listeners a new perspective the way others show me a new facet so that the big picture emerges. In these special times, it is very important to keep going and to never give up. This is also the way we assign value to the things we do and show what we really stand for. Thinking about the people in Japan (last year), I want to encourage every soul to keep going. Life is worth it to fall and to get up again, it is worth the struggle and the pain b/c it is the greatest gift of all.

Isaac: If you had an opportunity to sign with a major label, would you sign now knowing you may have to give up some of what you have built up over the years about you in the process?

Artur: If it would help me to spread my message, to reach a lot more people out there and to grow, to become more, then I would sign. If it would limit me to anything less, silence or deform my message into something that I don't really stand for, then I wouldn't. Success isn't measured by numbers; it's about the purpose and the fulfillment of a task. The truth is a calling that lives in all of us, just like love does.

Isaac: I remembered Simon Cowell from American Idol talking about the “it” Factor that makes a musician/band stand out. What do you think is your “it” factor that makes you stand out from others in the music business?

Artur: The fact that I will not try to step into another man’s footprints or measure myself by somebody's standards. This includes that I won't change myself in order to be received as somebody who I am not. I am not a prodigy or a product. I am not here to sell something but to reach those who listen, to inspire, to motivate, to open people’s hearts and minds.

Isaac: Name one important element that will make you stand out from the rest of the musicians/artists in the music industry?

Artur: If nothing else, then my ability to rap in three different languages. And maturity, you won't hear in my new songs any cursing or dissing. I am not trying to give anybody that feeling that I would be better than them, because I'm not. I don't look down at people; I want to make people feel good.

Isaac: Do you feel you have given it your best when pursuing your musical dreams so far? Why or why not?

Artur: I always do at the given time, in that moment. There are many other things going on in my life and I assign the required focus to each aspect at the right time, or I try at least. I am not perfect.

Isaac: Who do you look up to for your own influences and why?

Artur: In the very beginning, I was listening to KRS one, to Pac, to Busta and many others. I still listen here and there to other people, but I don't have any idols. I am a grown man now and I want to keep growing, to get better with the time like wine and to become more.

Isaac: Do you feel that Indie music gets the respect it deserves? Why or why not?

Artur: It doesn't. I think the reason for that are the majors that perceive music in their own way. They turned artistic expression into a sales pitch, into a product. The buy into a specific range of images and push what they can fit into their mold. Anything else isn't marketable and falls away. In Hip-Hop, in the beginning (that's how it seems to me); it was a great opportunity for people who didn't have power, for the man on the street to be heard. The point is that one needs to have a voice and to shine some light on things that need to be addressed. Today, if you don't talk about consumption, carelessness, don't advertise booze or cars while being a "rebel" of some sort that reached the top and achieved a high status the fast way, you aren't what they are looking for.
Isaac: If you could change one thing about the music business, what would it be and why?

Artur: The money flow, the artificially generated sales of CDs. When a major business company releases the CD of an artist that they invested in heavily, they give money to their interns, send them in the first few weeks to the stores and tell them to buy this artists CD. They pay the radio DJs; they pay the magazines, and so on. It is a business, 90% is business, and 10% is music. They generate a buzz. They create numbers and the rest of the population goes with the flow. What would happen if money would start to - juniorscave.com

"Artist Spotlight"

Artur is an independent rapper/producer from Lodz/Poland. He moved in 1987 to Germany when the communistic regime in Poland at that time decided that his father who left the country in 1984 to start a better life for the four of them in Germany was considered a traitor of the system and announced therefore that they have 24 hours to leave Poland. He started to write lyrics in 1996, when he was denied entry into a club because of his Polish passport and begun to make beats 2 years later. In 2004 he relocated to Chicago. His music has a positive message. It is important to Artur to express himself through his music and to offer people a better outlook on life, to address injustice and to spread the truth. "DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: Artur – “T.H.O.T.H. (The Harmonizing Of The Hemispheres)”"

In this new entry in our ‘Diamonds In The Rough’ category, we want to introduce you to upcoming artist Artur and his brand new album titled T.H.O.T.H. (The Harmonizing Of The Hemispheres).

Intended to represent the Golden Pages of Ascension in a playful and poetic manner, T.H.O.T.H., the album lists an array of valuable sources of teachings that have the potential to help you through the dimensional shift.

Artur describes the album as:
“Integrating the divine masculine and the divine feminine by integrating the Draconian/Reptilian and the Pleiadian, the Orion and the Sirian aspects within me, balancing the brain hemispheres and awakening to the unity consciousness of humanity, to the global brain, that is what I am experiencing. That is how I am translating the energy and presence of Thoth in my life through my being. I am what I am here and now and I love it. A gradual progression of DNA activations and of angelic integrations of metatronic energies that are shifting me upline in time towards a paradise like Earth, right through the portal of ascension, to an Earth that is ascending along with all life on the planet. A planet that has been prepared for this by the Prince of Peace, by Yeshua for over 2000 years.” - Fresh Hip Hop RnB

"Artur’s Debut Album “T.H.O.T.H. (The Harmonizing of The Hemispheres)“ Introduces the World to Ascension Rap (Album Review)"

Artur is a 43 year old Polish-American recording artist & sculptor based out of Atlanta, Georgia who started to write lyrics when he was 16 after being denied entry into a club because of his Polish passport. He wound also go on to found Living Angles & #UplineCreations after diving into sculptural art and into making frequency emitting permission-slips and art installations. But as a way of properly introducing himself in the music industry, Artur is presenting a brand new style of hip hop of his own that he refers to “ascension rap” on his full-length debut.

After the “Intergrate” intro, the first song “2023” sets off the album by opting in for an open contract over some bells & hi-hats whereas “Alien Abduction (Spiritual Induction)” works in some guitar licks talking about how some will view this as an omen & to follow the directions given. “Every Day” hooks up these synths with kicks & snares encouraging that each day in your life is a new beginning just before “Starseeds Activate” talks about the time being here & now accompanied by a glistening instrumental.

“We the Bring the Magic” has a more futuristic boom bap approach as The Swim’n Bird tags along to discuss that you are in fact the mystery, the bridge, the divinity & the magic that you seek in life leading into the title track attaches some more kicks & snares to an orchestral loop talking about healing the heart. “Architects of Consciousness” is a 2-minute atmospheric trap ballad building momentum of a potential that goes back all the way to the beginnings of Atlantis, but then “The Embodiment of 9” returns to the boom bap talking about the embodiment of the awakened human being.

Meanwhile on “Moving On Up (Level Up Now)”, we have Artur leveling up with a more cloudier instrumental backing him while “The Arcturian Gate” brings in the horns as he discusses the helping hand of Arcturus that is being stretched out towards mankind. Yung Kemmo coming into the picture for the rap rock inspired “Host of Rhythm” paying homage to the great spirit while “In the Flow” returns to trap territory to deliver an invocation of the spiritualization of Earth’s humanity.

The song “Know Thyself” brings back the rock vibes as he provides an anthem touching on being honest with yourself & self-investigation with Nathaniel Yost on the hook while the penultimate track “Perfect Resonance” dives back into the basement as far as sound goes talking about aligning oneself with the soul’s original blueprint. And to finish the album off, “Mahas Saham” addresses the one & infinite mind that’s immortal.

If anyone out there is looking for a product that represents the Golden Pages of Ascension in a playful & poetic manner, then T.H.O.T.H. (The Harmonizing of The Hemispheres) is definitely the album for you & it makes me excited to see him elevate his ascension rap style even further from hereon out. The teachings spread throughout it’s 50 minute course most certainly have the power to help one through the dimensional shift & the production fits the ascendant themes quite well. - Underground Hip Hop Blog

Bio

I go by Artur144, Art aka Der Gletscher, Ray of Ra, Anuhet, or 369. I am a recording artist #UplineCreations, a sculptor #LivingAngles, and a channel for my higher-self. I was born in 1980 in Poland and moved in 1987 to Germany, when the communist regime at that time decided that my father who left the country in 1984 to start a better life for the four of us was considered a traitor by that system, and announced therefore that our family had 24 hours to leave the country. I specialize in geometric art installations that emit frequencies and my music contains channeled, time-coded information for the generations that have passed and that are passing through #TheArcturianGate.

In 2022 Artur appeared in Alien Abduction: Answers #AAA, an award winning documentary that also features his music, and that is streaming on most major platforms.
