Ashes of Edin is a Hard Rock/Metal band hailing from McHenry, Illinois
Their sound is a mix of hard hitting riffs, catchy choruses, enticing and relatable lyrics, and heavy breakdowns. They draw heavy inspiration from bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Alterbridge, Nothing More and Breaking Benjamin.Â
Their cover of "50 Ways to Say Goodbye" was featured on the local radio station, 95.1 WIIL rock during their local band showcase, 420 homegrown hit of the day, and was voted to play twice!
The band has played many shows, most notably opening for the band Red at the Forge in Joilet, IL and Headlining their own show at the new and popular Vixen in Mchenry, IL Which drew in a crowd of over 200
