MUJI in My Life

One of the many things that excited me about moving to NYC was that one of my favorite designer stores, MUJI, was only a half an hour away from me! I have been a big fan of MUJI catalogs for years now. Their products have a beautiful Japanese aesthetic that is both minimalistic and elegant. Virginia received record-setting amounts of snow over the last couple of days and I’m surprised that the weight of it didn’t cause more trees to attack our power lines sooner. As we come to the end of Cancer Fatigue Awareness Month I think it's only appropriate to salute the many men, women, and children who are staying strong in their fight against cancer. So for the last two days straight - and I mean straight - I've been working on re-designing a'tris HQ. The guys and I have been wanting to overhaul the site for some time now but have just been utterly swamped trying to pay our bills and record our next album. The Lensing template always seemed a little under cooked to me. It continues to do its job well but I feel that it could be far more streamlined… (read more)
