As I may have mentioned in a past post, I’m a huge fan of NetNewsWire [Official]. Everyday I launch it I find all kinds of cool articles (conveniently organized by subject) eagerly awaiting my ever inquisitive eyes. Lately though, I haven’t had much free time so my poor friend and RSS reader went unopened. Until today.

While I initially downloaded NetNewsWire I took its name literally and used it to primarily subscribe to news feeds you know, like CNN, my local newspaper, and the Onion I’m so glad that I grew to appreciate its full potential. I now use it to pull from blogs and image feeds focused on a wide range of subjects. Can you guess what my most favorite category is? Hint: It’s what I do for a living.

I love music blogs and one of my favorites is Radioexile [Official]. Our friend Shawn Smith and his staff have created a site that really puts a spotlight on the cream of the crop of today’s independent and mainstream bands and I’ve discovered a lot of great artists through their site.
