Personalize Your E-mail Signature with WiseStampPosted By from March 6, 2010As some of you may have gathered from my posts about various electronics and computer-related stuff, I’m a huge fan of technology and pretty much anything tech-related. I guess, for that reason, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I geek out when it comes to the Mac. Many of my favorite feeds are Mac-related, and one of the best places I’ve found to get all of the latest Apple news is MacGasm. I’ve been subscribing to their posts for over a year now so it’s a huge honor for me to be featured as a guest writer today. If you share my interest in technology and use Firefox, Chrome, or Flock as your default browser, you may enjoy reading my post, How to Personalize Your E-mail Signature with WiseStamp. I’ve included a snippet from it below.
If you are a plain text purist then this post is not for you. However, if you prefer a richer e-mail experience, then WiseStamp may be up your alley.
Several months ago Joshua wrote a great piece here about getting HTML in your mail footers using Mail.app. His tutorial does an excellent job of breaking down the steps necessary to trick Apple into allowing you to post some customized goodness beneath your messages. The only catch is it takes a bit of doing and, if you’ve abandoned Apple’s mail client to move to a web-based solution, you’re out of luck. One nice thing about WiseStamp is that it’s designed as a browser extension so it goes where you go. To read the rest, please visit Macgasm.net. Hope this finds you feeling healthy! -Mason
