Auranova

Auranova is an explosive alternative rock band broadening new horizons in the Spanish rock genre. The five pieces hails from the Rio Grande Valley and features duet vocalists Damaso Cantu and Chris Cohen. The band compels fans with their amazing ability to combine memorable melodic, eye-popping hooks, with a charismatic Rockstar vibe. This combination allows the band to cast a wide net, capturing the imagination of fans and competitors alike.

Now, following the release of their new album, La Vida Sin Ti, Auranova is setting the GPS to cities in the South Region of US, as they embark on their first strategic regional tour. These innovative shows will showcase their new music to both existing and new fans in the Rio Grande Valley, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas.

Auranova features Damaso Cantu on vocals and guitar, Chris Cohen on vocals and piano, Simon Hernandez on Lead Guitar, Mario Menchaca on Bass, and Jair Vite on drums. The members bring their unique backgrounds together, creating a refreshing and distinctive sound that is uniquely Auranova.

Chris states, Auranova is determined and destined to make an impact in the music industry; with songs that all feature memorable duet vocal melodies perfectly blended with keys, rock guitar and well crafted rhythm sections. The idea was to create an international melting pot mixed with some of the world’s most influential acts including past successes such as Coldplay, Bon Jovi, U2, Juanes, Mana as well as a handful of today’s heroes.

Songs from the band’s most recent album, La Vida Sin Ti, will be featured as Auranova blaze through the South US region. Damaso describes the album’s first single, Un Trago De Ti as the perfect “International rock anthem for the tequila industry”
