Bio

Ayla Gentiletti, twenty years old, was born and raised in the south New Jersey farming town of Vineland, NJ. Together with the towns of Millville and Hammonton, Vineland has a southern feel with country music as prevalent as pop and rock. She spent her summers at the Jersey Shore towns of Ocean City, Cape May and Wildwood. Ayla began singing at a young age, listening to her father's record collection of classic rock as well as the popular music of the day. She began recording at local recording studios at age fifteen and started performing around the area. Ayla has also performed the National Anthem at major sporting events including Seton Hall Basketball. In 2013 Ayla was crowned Miss Cumberland County, NJ and has twice competed in the Miss New Jersey Pageant. In 2015 Ayla was crowned Miss Southern Counties, NJ and will be competing once again at the Miss New Jersey Pageant in 2016. At all of the pageants Ayla has performed musical selections.

In 2014 Ayla started working with writer Jes Hudak, a top NYC based singer/songwriter and second place finalist on the Bravo television series Platinum Hit with Jewel and Kara DioGuardi. Ayla then began recording with well-known industry producer Jon Leidersdoff at Lake House Studios in Asbury Park, NJ. Along with her band, some of the top young musicians in New Jersey, Ayla recorded a self-entitled four song EP of authentic pop rock music with all real instruments. The music draws on the traditional Jersey rock/soul sound updated with a modern spin and is now available now on iTunes. Ayla also filmed live videos for the songs at Lake House Studios, directed by Mark Niskansen, which are available on YouTube.

In 2015 Ayla began working with Nashville writer, Steve Dean, who has written top ten hits for artists including Rodney Atkins, Reba McEntire, George Strait & others. She also began working with artist and writer Joe Grushecky, a frequent performer with Bruce Springsteen. This new set of songs were recorded with producer Jon Leidersdorff at Lake House Studios in Asbury Park, along with Ayla's band. The new songs bring out the retro soul sounds of the Jersey Shore and the country vibe of South Jersey with a modern feel. Curtis King, Jr. of the E Street Band sang on two tracks as well. The songs are now available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play & Amazon Music.
