Musicians Bio:
Lori - Originally from Allentown, PA Lori began being musical in 4th grade with a trumpet and playing "drums" on Charlie chip cans with an upside down pie tin on a music stand used as a cymbal <clink>. Guitar proved to be the instrument of choice as she explored everything from rock, classical, jazz, country rock, folk and blues. Lori went on to perform on drums with Atlanta classic rock band, "Streetlife", and on guitar in Philadelphia with all female acoustic jazz group, "Natural Reaction", producing the original CD release, Pastiche. Acoustic rock with vocal harmony is Lori's first musical love and in 1997 Lori teamed up with Lynn Verdone forming the duo, "Backflipannie". They released two successful independent CD's of kickin' original music that received radio airplay on a global scale along with live performances in the US, Europe and Asia.
Anne - Originally from the western suburbs of Philadelphia Anne's musical roots started from birth. Seriously. I kid you not. The woman is amazing. Her first audience was the most precious of all, her two sons. The extent of her professional musical ability emerged quickly after the kids left the nest to successfully pursue their own creative talents. Aside from Anne's natural, pitch perfect, singing voice shines through her first instrument of choice was the flute back in grade school. Today's choice is the bass guitar. Granted the flute isn't easy to sing with, but the bass guitar?!? Not the easiest of instruments to sing with but she makes it look like child's play. Anne's musical influences of Bowie, Beatles, and Moody Blues, led her to fronting a classic rock band in the Philadelphia area, "Note 4 Note" since 2010 along with bandmate, Lori. It was this venture that produced the duo "Bettenroo".
