Truth Raines is a hip-hop artist out of Detroit, Michigan.  Truth had always known he had a skill and took any opportunity he could get his hands on. At the age of 14, he was asked to perform a rhyme in front of a large congregation for the local church and its community. After murdering a Dr. Dre beat and impressing the massive audience at such a young age, he know he would pursue a future in music. Slick Rick and Nas was an early influence for Truth's career. He also took liking to the strong lyrical ability and vivid artistry of fellow Detroit rapper, Eminem. Truth has been in the game over a decade as an artist, producer and a writer. Truth had realized his talent was beyond individual ability and began to expand his craft while emerging himself into Detroit’s scene and all things entertainment. With other artists coming to Truth for input and collaborations, from rhymes to beats to overall music conception; Truth Raines penetrated the local industry setting an example in Detroit music for years to come. With that mentality, Truth became C.E.O of his own multimedia label, Blackoutt Entertainment LLC.  The company became official in summer of 2016, his first signed artist and nephew, Blackoutt Alex continues to work with the label today. Today, Truth has over 900 songs recorded and is set to release a album solo album and a compilation album including all four of Blackoutt’s artists this year. In the future, Truth wants to continue to run his company and write for artists.
