Blair

Blair is an artist from Detroit, Michigan who is greatly influenced by funk, rock and roll, and hip-hop. However, when she is creating, her sole purpose is to stay within the integrity of the story being developed rather than one specific sound. Her duty is the to the story, and the rest follows, giving every piece created, real life. 

 While attending Howard University as a Musical Theater major, she became classically trained, which allowed for her to be versatile through song, stage and dance. Throughout her years in college she began to create solely from her experiences, which aided to produce her vision and sound. 

Her unapologetic lyrics married to her colorful tones pair to make the foundation of her powerful brand. Her debut project entitled "Jezebel" will be available in February  2019. The body of work will be greatly influenced by a combination of contrasting genres while illustrating the life of "Jezebel" from notably different vantage points.

"Jezebel", the driving force and first single off the project will set the tone with its raw guitar and powerful vocals. She has performed this piece and a few others on the project on stages that include SXSW, and the Rel Carter Culture Tour.

Blair is set to continue building her influence while developing her own lane to encourage boldness, sexual liberation, and freedom. She will be joining numerous stages following the release of her first body of work, to promote her groundbreaking sounds and crafted lyrics, while continuing to grow a fan base, while aiding to build her sound.
