Today we've got Britt Daley's new track "Move Me". It's a wash of airy and chilled out vocals combined with some delicate synths. The Florida based artist has recently shared the stage with notable acts such as Tegan And Sara, Kevin Barnes (Of Montreal), VHS Or Beta, Surfer Blood, and Yacht. - It's all Indie.

"Daley, Britt Daley, and a daily reminder... | Live Review | March 20 2014 | The Social Orlando"

“Nice legs!!” -random guy in the corner to Britt Daley. Which are elegantly emphasized in her music video for “One And Only.” Check that shit out:

Britt Daley is an Orlando local. Not to be confused with the headlining artist Daley. I made the mistake of missing her perform when she opened for Tegan And Sara this past December at The Plaza Live. I also learned some important shit that night. Fortunately, I did not make the same mistake tonight.

Britt Daley fucking rules. It was just drummer and her. A two piece, like Local H. She sings and plays keyboards and hits the space bar on a MacBook for backtracks. The music is really fucking cool. It’s soulful and passionate and the drums pound steady and hard and you seem to lose yourself, just for a moment, as it draws you in and then it dawns on you: “This shit is awesome.”

Britt took the time to explain what every song was about before she played it. Doing that shit truly reveals how sincere she is about her music and lyrics. She really has a bright future. She ‘gives a shit.’ I’m stoked to see her continue to grow next week at Firestone Live and the week after at the Florida Music Festival. - MITCH FOSTER | showsigoto.com

"This Little Underground"

... (Jun. 5, Back Booth) I can understand laying chips down on Britt Daley. Besides confidence of presence, she at least has some legitimate vocal chops that flirt with the immaculateness of Enya and the acrobatics of Kate Bush. Her drama-draped fashionista electro-pop's not necessarily my thing, but there's some real foundation to work with at least... - Orlando Weekly / by Bao Le-Huu

"Drama Queen"

Percussive, soaring, and melodic, the music of Britt Daley is an elixir that’s almost instantly intoxicating. The Florida artist crafts enchanting synth-pop gems that are full of longing and wonder. “Never Done This” begins with the seductive thump of bass and new-wave synths. It’s a ballad with a beat and a singer who pierces the upper register with clear, bell-like vocals that are a mix of Tori Amos and Kate Bush. “Lilly” is impossibly romantic, an airborne catharsis of vocals and piano. But our favorite track may have to be the swooning, rhythmic “Closer To You.” With a chorus that’s more like an incantation, Daley summons you into her dreamy headspace. “Bring me closer to you,” she pleads. Trust us, after hearing her music, you’ll be echoing the sentiment. - OurStage Magazine | Artist Features by Kate B on July 6, 2011

"Borgeous Drops A Banging Morgan Page Remix"

Borgeous dropped a banger of a new remix this week for Morgan Page’s “Running Wild,” featuring Britt Daley and The Oddictions. Contrasting the original track, Borgeous picks up the pace while infusing his signature big room elements into the mix, making for an irresistibly danceable track.

The producer opens his remix with a driving four on the floor beat, introducing the familiar melodies from the original. Setting things off right with an energetic intro, Borgeous quickly cuts back the percussion, making room for the song’s catchy vocals. While slowly introducing new elements, he brings up the intensity with frantic, rising percussion and rapid synth leads. The drops feature huge club beats and exciting synth melodies, bringing the energy of the track full force.

Borgeous’ remix features terraced dynamics, ranging from pounding big room drops to serene vocal breakdowns. He manages to increase the energy and tempo of the original track without sacrificing the emotive qualities that made it so memorable, giving us an excellent remix in the process.

"Morgan Page – Running Wild Feat. The Oddictions And Britt Daley (Borgeous Remix)"

Few producers are able to tastefully adapt their styles of music without blatantly straying from where they came from, and the timeless of Morgan Page’s discography speaks to the fact that he is one of the lucky ones. His latest release, ‘Running Wild’, caught us by storm and we have had it on repeat ever since.

Just yesterday, we saw that Borgeous got his hands on the track for a remix and we were beyond excited. Both producers have that anthemic and energetic main room sound that stands out for its maturity and masterful executions. The Oddictions’ And Britt Daley’s vocals give Borgeous the freedom to go absolutely crazy with his music, which at the end creates a melodic monster that is explosive and touching. Not straying too far from the conventional dance music arrangement and formula, you can tell what’s coming next but that’s not to say you won’t be blown away.

This remix comes out just in time for the two artists to go on tour together early next year, so check the tour dates and purchase your tickets here. - William Vance | EDMtunes.com

"Morgan Page – Running Wild feat. The Oddictions and Britt Daley (Jayceeoh Remix)"

Producer and turntablist Jayceeoh has been especially prolific with remixes and collaborations in recent months. It seems that with each subsequent release, he has showcased a more refined version of his multi-dimensional studio prowess. In line with this trend, Morgan Page asked Jayceeoh to produce the official remix of his new single “Running Wild” just in time for TomorrowWorld. The remix flips the progressive house original and delivers the expected trap elements and a decidedly booming bassline, without mitigating Page’s deftly-crafted original melody.

Jayceeoh has also proven himself adept at modulating vocals without altering their essence — his remix of Alison Wonderland’s “Run,” which features another powerfully distinctive vocal, has often replaced her own original in her live sets. Britt Daley’s commanding voice remains the unquestionable centerpiece of “Running Wild,” demonstrating a restraint not often associated with the productions of bass and trap artists.

“I love hearing different remixes of my songs, and the Jayceeoh mix is no exception – flipping the house mix into a bass-heavy trap rework. It brought a whole new vibe and attitude to the track,” said Morgan Page about Jayceeoh’s reinterpretation. The duo is rumored to be collaborating in the studio, and hitting the road together for a tour this fall. - Lucy Davidson | Dancing Astronaut
