Candescent is a 4-piece band founded in January 2021 in Laurens, SC. Bringing out plenty of brutal elements from modern hardcore, metalcore, and deathcore. Candescent is here to bring energy right in your face and perfect for 2-stepping. Their influences and sounds is compared to those of Knocked Loose, Varials, and Boundaries.

With only 6 demo tracks released, they are currently in the studio for the upcoming official release of their debut EP which should be released before the end of 2021. Candescent has had the opportunity to play with some well known southeast acts such as Haymaker, Cleansing of the Temple, Proxima, and A War To Win.
With plenty of gigs already booked and being booked, Candescent are surely making their mark in the scene.
