"MEET FEMALE RAP ARTIST: CHE’ AMOUR"

I have been wanting to feature a female Rap Artist for a while now, so when I bumped into Che’ Amour I was beyond thrilled to feature her. Che’ Amour is one of those rare talents that is slowly but surely on her way to stardom. As an up and coming artist the 23 year old has already performed at multiple venues including Artscape (in Baltimore), Bowie State University, Epic Fest (in Virginia), Pure Lounge (in DC), Pangeea Fest (in Baltimore), and many more. Che’ comes off as a calm soul but, when she hits the stage her energy is amazing and the way she connects with her fans is incredible. She started off in a rap group called “Never Descent” and eventually went off to focus on her own solo career. Now lets jump into this and get to know Che’ Amour a little better. - Steph Royalty

"Che' Amour Prepares Release of First Mixtape"

"The presence of females within the hip-hop industry is beginning to grow, and Che’ Amour hopes to continue the trend. She began writing at the age of 14 and found an instant love for music. Amour played basketball when she was eight years old and thought she would be playing on the court for a while. But soon something else sparked her interest. “In 10th grade my friends promoted artists for a record label. Some of them rapped and performed and it inspired me to start writing and I eventually joined the record label becoming head of promotion,” Amour said." - Tap Songz

Bio

An American recording artist born in Washington D.C, and raised in Bowie MD. Che’s love for music began when she was 13. During her freshman year in college she realized that she wanted to pursue music as her career. She started off in a rap group called ‘Never Descent’. Eventually, the group went their separate ways and Che’ began to focus on her solo career. Che’ studied hip hop artists such as Jay-Z, Biggie Smalls, A Tribe Called Quest, Queen Latifah, and Nas. Once she developed her style, she dropped her first project “Trill Season” in April 2015. Stay Tuned…
