Bio
Ciraxis is a three piece progressive metal band inspired by the sounds of Opeth, Iron Mastodon and Iron Maiden. Founded in April 2017, they have released a demo, EP and will release a full-length in August 2019. Ciraxis also provides live sound reinforcement and engineering to aid its Central Illinois-based heavy metal/hard rock scene.
The band listens to many forms of music from classical to technical death metal and everything in between. We are huge fans of Gentle Giant, Yes, KISS, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, ZZ Top, The Cars, Talking Heads, Hideous Divinity, Beyond Creation, Origin, Between the Buried and Me and The Black Dahlia Murder. We like to have a good time and writing and performing our music satisfies those needs.
