“City”, new single premiere by Brooklyn’s Zeke Finn depicting the realities and dreams between city and country life. - Underground Hip-Hop

Zeke Finn definitely didn’t forget the open air of upstate New York when he migrated south to Brooklyn. Thematically Finn takes on a decidedly different angle than the title “Love Song” would suggest. The overall tone is breezy and mellow, but the heartbreak is there for sure.
A mini string arrangement greets the listener as “Love Song” kicks off. As this happens, you’ll definitely notice Finn sounds vocally akin to Kristian Mattson (The Tallest Man on Earth). He wastes no times diving into the lyrics, and when the time calls for it, he invites spacious harmonies to join beat holding snaps. All of this happens around a tale of two people with very opposite styles attempting to find a way to gel.
Things aren’t going so well, and the mood starts to ebb a bit in the final chorus. But one big, final swoop comes in to breathe life into a dismal, yet shiny, situation. Let’s see where this goes from here. - Soundchips

Brooklyn-based trio Zeke Finn is an eclectic project able to blend different genres and styles in a quite remarkable way. Their self-titled debut EP is ready to be released later this year and it’ll include hip-hop textures, reggae influences, a touch of rock and, most of all, tons of good vibes. Today we’re premiering the first track to be lifted from the aforementioned extended play which stands as a very good example of what they’re capable of. Titled Love Song, the track is a delicious pop carousel made of irresistible rhymes and with its high rate of catchiness it’s that kind of track you’d listen chilling at the beach, after a refreshing dip into the sea. - Going Solo
