Forever Starts Tonight EP (2015)

When you listen to some bands, their music it takes you somewhere else; that's the case with Dear Destiny and the album "Forever Starts Tonight". When You first listen to the songs "Truth" and "Million Miles" they bring about memories of your past, thoughts of the future and play in your mind like a movie soundtrack. This six song debut will leave you to think about lost loves, rebellion and what can be. It's hard to place the band in any genre or label them, with provoking lyrics and multi genre influenced music there is no need to.

Strating with the song "Truth" it opens up in true rock form sending you into the next song " Generation Unleashed" which could be used as an anthem for even the most common man. The real gem seems to be the title track "Forever Starts Tonight", it could be used in a soundtrack to any love story or touching moment in your memory. Wrapping it all up is the song "We Are One" which is daring the world to unite against the violence and ugly things going on in the world today. Music that explores the deep desire to understand deeper truths from the seen and unseen world around us. This is a band that is just gaining traction in the music industry and won't be spinning their wheels for long.

Dear Destiny
is a life long project we've begun to give. Dear Destiny draws its influences from Thrice, Four Years Strong, The Used, and Rise Against. When you write to destiny, don't wait for destiny to respond. Move forward and if destiny has something to say about it...you will know.  Dear Destiny is your soundtrack for positive change.  Dream Big!

Zeo(Lead Vocalist/Rhythm Guitarist)
began this journey as a rapper. His mind was all over the place with thoughts way ahead of his time. His brother, Danny, was an 80's metal guitarist shreddin' away and one day he asked him to put music to a rock song he wrote. After that he picked up the guitar. Danny taught him his first 4 notes and he was off from there. For a period of time he got into rap rock and punk. Eventually he would begin testing with all kinds of genres.
After a few years of writing and performing originals that expressed the darker side of the human emotion, Zeo had a spiritual experience that changed his outlook. From then on he began writing lyrics/songs for positive change. One of those songs, titled Dear Destiny, would become the name for this project.

Patrick Languirand(Backup Vocalist/Bassist) grew up around music. His uncle had a home studio, so he would listen to different bands that were being recorded. Patrick started playing bass in middle school and has played in punk, rock, and ska bands.  He made the decision to join up with Dear Destiny and immediately clicked with them.

David Lingum(Lead Guitarist) never grew up around musicians or played an instrument. However at the end of his senior year in high school, he decided to give it a try.
After realizing that playing Guitar Hero wasn't quite enough for him his father picked up an old guitar from a garage sale. He immediately fell in love with it. About three months later, David entered a District Guitar Competition and placed first. He then got the opportunity to compete at Trevecca Nazarene University and placed fifth in the region after only playing for six months. Since then, he has played in many churches, venues and festivals with local bands and talented musicians. His influences range from pop, contemporary, alternative, rock and metal.

Jeremy Giarraputo(Backup Vocalist/Drummer) grew up with Zeo and around music for a long time. Almost every weekend, Zeo and Jeremy would practice a few songs and Jeremy picked them up quickly. Jeremy also learned a few drumming techniques, and he quickly surpassed his teacher. He has also played in many local gigs, festivals, and venues.
