Dejected

Dejected is a Hard Rock band hailing out of Zanesville, Ohio. Dejected officially formed in October 2019 after lifelong friends Matt Devoll (Guitar) and Johnathon Jarvis (Drums, Vocals) connected with Drew Bauserman (Bass, Vocals) after being introduced through Drew’s Father and who was working with Matt.

The original form or Dejected learned primarily cover music to open for other bands however did not have any real direction or plans at the time and went by several different names for every different show they had performed. The trio enjoyed playing together end started creating music and decided to make the group official and settled on the name “Dejected.” The sound is a unique blend of Grunge, Hard Rock, Alternative Metal, and 80’s Rock giving Dejected a distinct and unique sound.

The band released their debut EP “Still Calling Your Name” and subsequently shot a video for the title track. The band chose the song as a single due to being a song that “No matter who you are, or what you’ve personally experienced. This song can relate and resonate in your own way.” -Drew Bauserman

Dejected has grown their audience through extensive live shows, and writing music that they are proud of and fans can connect with.
