"DOOBZ DA KIDSTA – THE DEMO EP"

From the last time when we brought you an exclusive with Doobz, a little over a year ago, a lot of things have changed. It’s almost like his style has matured and got just bit more colder.

This four track EP showcases Doobz distinct vocal presents while the beat selection weaves in and out of the dark corners, soulful riffs and totally turnt up crew bangers. The Demo features a hauntingly soulful vocal from NeO on “Pick Up Your Feet” and an all out crew verbal onslaught on “Road To Cairo”. Head on over after the break for the complete package, along with some bonus single artwork. - Demo

"Doobz Da Kidsta *The Demo (EP)* New Music"

Doobz Da Kidsta drops his four track EP The Demo today and honestly it’s one for the repeat button in the car. Doobz new project’s opening song Maturity is without a doubt a track for the grown and sexy and is my favorite, next joint features a soulful stand out vocal performance from NeO on Pick Up Your Feet, Turning The Page had me nodding my head with the chill beat and his consistently dope flow, and Road To Cairo was an all out slaughter with Doobz and the crew. This short project is worth the download and listen and Doobz Da Kidsta is an artist you are going to want to keep your eyes on. Big things to come from this Florida native. - Lauren Lo

Bio

My name is Doobz. Im an artists from South Florida with a new york sound. Originally from Brooklyn New York Hip Hop was all about lyrics. An artist that could tell a story was the idol. The artist that gave its listeners something they can relate to was the most respected. Artist like Jay-Z and Biggie Smalls were masters at capturing the esscence of it. Moving to south florida at the age of 13, I was introduced in southern Hip Hop. Now in the beginning of course I thought southern rap was absolute garbage, but that was because of my ignorance to believing that there was only one version of hip hop. As I grew up in the south for most of my teen years and now manhood, my influences grew. It ranged from not Jay and Biggie, but to artist like Outkast, UGK, and Young Jeezy. I always thought that my personality never fit with hiphop, I was a nerd. I loved comics and movies and all the artist I listened to talked about the hood , killing , drug dealing and being a thug. It wasnt until I heard Lupe Fiasco that I realized I knew I could make a career of rapping. His intelligence of the world and of where he came from showed me that you can be who you are and still be real. When making music I try to use different geners of producers, using different sounds trying to push my creativity and thought process. I dont try to be different , I try to push myself into being a better version of myself as in artist. Now at 24 years old , I have new experiences in life, responsibilites and priorities that im sure other people are going through if not have gone through already. I want my music to influence people in life to make the right decisions and be prosperous.
