Dre Johnson is an independent rapper based out of St. Louis. Coming from a small town, he's practiced his craft for over 11 years. With his primary genre centering on hip hop/pop, he's experimented with other genres including trap, trap pop, and R&B.
Adaptable, self-financed, and confident, Dre's music has grown over the years, and his most recent hits have been featured on radio stations including St. Louis' HOT 104.1, z107.7, and 100.3 The Beat.
His songs have also been featured in clubs and bars around St. Louis, including Fubar, Gramophone, The Olive Bar, The Pageant, D's Place, The Ambassador, and Bobbys Place.
With dozens of live performances over the years, from local parties to clubs, Dre has spent hours honing his craft to perform on a high level. His inspiration started from a childhood love of music and has grown to an obsession towards perfection.
"Music comes from within you. You create it because you can't contain it. Nothing can stop it from coming out. And if you're serious enough, money and attention take a backseat. If all I had was my phone to record a song, I would do it. I have to."
Dre spends his days writing music, recording, and supporting his newborn daughter, Aubri.
