D'screet

D’screet is a solo artist from Louisville KY heading up a new generation of artistry that emerged from the influence of Soul, R&B and popular artist such as Usher, Mariah, and Boys II Men. D’screet has been a professional singer, dancer, choreographer, writer, and director since the tender age of eleven  years of age. At eight years old he booked a pivotal gig where he sand the National Anthem at the Presidential Convention / Executive INN hotel 1993.  D’screet went on to do a plethora of shows and events. At sixtenn he went onto achieve a recording contract with Def Jams that didn’t fully come to fruition.  After the contract D’screet opened for National Artist such a Lyfe Gennings, Kiki Wyatt, and graced many local and national stages and shows. During this time D'screet serviced Light up Louisville, choreographed for U of L College, and won competitive contest such as Hottest in The Ville, went undefeated, and won Chris Brown’s This Christmas Singing Challenge for his region. D’screet studied the melodic styling of Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, and other soul artist while also the tap, jaz, modern, and hip hpo dance style of such artist/ choreographers; Michael Jackson and Fatima Roberson. D’screet studied Musical Theatre at Missouri Valley College and was 1 of 20 selected as a Governor School for the Arts participant out of 1000’s of applicants.  There, he absorbed the skill for learning other genera’s of song and dance such as – Dance: Tap, Jazz, and Modern. Song – Oprah, and Classical Italian Music.  Later D’screet took what he considered to be the essential parts of his study over the year to form a newer genera he has labeled IP Soul.

Studios. He currently performs nationally with four backup singers and two backup dancers.  His debut album entitled Courtship is expected to drop late Aug 2016.
