Effusive

Effusive is a 3 piece Acoustic Rock band from Frederick Maryland. Effusive draws influence from many of the greats in its genre (John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Staind, Creed) with emphasis put on originality. We have heavy influence from all the names you know and love but we strive to deliver a sound that hasn't been heard before.  Most music revolves around the tune. Effusive is quite different in the sense that our songs revolve around the message. Effusive delivers a strong message of perseverance and equality. In a world where most things are hectic and controversial, we strive to provide the means to help our listeners sit back and enjoy the little things. We write music tailor made to help you weather the tough parts of life and to teach love towards each other. 

Our objective is twofold.

A.) To provide a song you can truly relate to. We're all about propping you up when you're down and providing you with a song about an experience you've had.                                               

B.) To help reinforce what most of us know. In this day in age, many things have gotten out of hand. Effusive is the hard truth. We take no sides, we point no fingers; we just observe and offer some ideas on how to make this world a better place for everyone.

Effusive was actually forged in the depths of the Frederick metal scene  \m/ -_- \m/   We are all previous members of local metal bands that joined forces to turn a solo side project into something you (and your mother) can jam to. We are a fully self-sufficient musical production operation here at Effusive. We are writers, composers, musicians, audio engineers, graphic designers, marketing and PR guys, performers and ninjas. Ok fine maybe not ninjas, but we work extremely hard to bring you sounds that make you smile.
