Elijah Fox

Elijah Fox-Peck began playing piano at age eleven. His teacher, Tyson Rogers introduced him to jazz and he began going to local jam sessions at the nearby Know Bookstore while in middle school. At the Know Bookstore, he met jazz legend Yusuf Salim who advised and taught Elijah before his passing. In 7th grade, he was chosen as the guest soloist to accompany the NCCU Jazz Big Band to the British Virgin Islands. The same year he recorded his first professional album with Thomas Taylor and Neall Strand entitled “Generations.â€? 

During his freshman year of high school Elijah was chosen as the North Carolina All-State jazz pianist. He received this title every year until his senior year when he passed the torch to his younger brother Gabe. In 2011, Elijah received a full tuition scholarship to the Berklee School of Music Summer program where he placed into the All-Star Funk Ensemble. In 2013, Elijah decided to continue his education at Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio where he studies under Dan Wall and Robin Eubanks.
