Asia, it has been another full throttle adventure. It all began just under six weeks ago in Kuala Lumpur. The 2012 F1 season was just underway down in Australia, and it was time for round two at the Sepang International Circuit. This also meant it was time for the second round of parties! Ok, so I started with this mix back in April while I was in Kuala Lumpur, and the ideas kept carrying on throughout Shanghai, and eventually it was completed when I made it over to Europe in May. I finally returned to Miami this evening after seven weeks away.  London, NYC, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Shanghai were all a blast to say the least!  Great clubs, fun people, lots of love, loads of movie watching, street food heaven, and definitely improved chopstick skills!  I will post some photos soon.  I will be bouncing around a bit this weekend in Miami, highlighted by my return to Pangaea… (read more)

A few more weeks have passed, and I am ready to get the wheels up again! I stayed close in hope of getting my teeth finally permanently replaced, but that didn’t quite go as planned. It is a blurry memory, but the past two weeks were good fun. The never-ending trip to Shanghai was well worth it. The weather was miserable, communication was near impossible, city was congestion was unrelenting, and the smog kept the sun hidden even on a “clear” day. So, 25 kilos later, my new home for the next thirty-eight days has been organized. Abu Dhabi’s heat, Germany’s wet cold, and Switzerland’s frosty alps are all on the schedule, so space and weight were precious. A year ago today, a few life changing events occurred, however only one memory still seems too fresh. My hometown of Galveston Island, TX, was devastated by Hurricane Ike. However, one thing overpowers the struggle…all friends and family remained safe. Berlin was great fun, and it was great to spend some time with my father there as well. Bread & Butter was full of exciting looks and directions.
