Art is a funny thing.  So many, many people tell you "you can't make a living at it" but I know that I do better at it than I would with a full time sales job at a department store.  Still, it can be hard.  I know forty three ways to make pasta, hah!  (Pasta en oleo with spinach, with mushrooms, with olives...all kinds of stuff).  But it seems to me to be so *worth* it.  My fondest desire would… (read more)

It was rainy on Sunday.  Rainy dream away.  Days like that always make me think of that tune--that and "1983, a Merman I Should Turn To Be".  I actually went to Harpin' Help later that evening and played a family gig--my Uncle George's 60th. Well, the little one and my sis are on Spring Break, which means I have the place to myself.  I'm going out tonight to be with friends.  Had dinner with my Dad--also a singer--last night.  So good!  We had Indian @ Delhi 6 in East Windsor.  Stayed close to home.  No gigs until Friday, but I'm always looking for more work.  It's a long way to the top...I hope I get there someday, sometimes it… (read more)

Last night was such a great gig.  I didn't get to bed until 5 AM though. Then  I had to wake up at 8 to drive back home!  I came home and slept a bit more but I'm still sooo exhausted.  Now I gotta get ready and go to NY.  Looooong weekend.   On the other hand, I am an active, working musician with records out and selling, so how can I complain?  [smile].  See you at the Bitter End! ST. Right now it’s being played on Philly radio WXPN and other NJ stations.  The song is “You Angel You” from Bob’s Planet Waves album. Well,  looks like Mother Nature decided the time just wasn't right for our Album to release.  Can't really argue with 2ft of snow!  We have postponed to January 2 so instead of bringing xmas in together looks like we will be bringing in the new year! That's my cyber scream!   I'm just so excited and pleased with how things are going.  Fan reception, our songs, our sound, our album, new and bigger venues.   We sold over 100 cd's this month that's as many as the first month the album was out -- Just goes to show we should release in time for summer! :)  It's great to be 9 months into an album release and still be selling lots of records… (read more)

We reached our goal to be playing on more than 100 radio stations! We are so excited to have been able to get our name out there and create some new fans! We even made it into medium rotation on 18 stations and held there for several weeks and we broke into the top 30 playlist on two stations.
