LIVE @ Best Buy is a home for independent artists to showcase their talent and engage the community through Best Buy. LIVE @ Best Buy is an employee driven initiative to provide the broad spectrum of New York City artists a place to play, be seen, and heard.

Originally the brainchild of Roberto Irizarry (pictured left), LIVE @ Best Buy has been presenting and promoting local artists inside of our stores since March 2009. With the support of Best Buy’s district manager for New York City, Phill Chacra (pictured center), and production coordinator Adam Schneider (pictured right), Irizarry started recruiting bands for our first stage at our Chelsea store on 23rd and 6th Ave. In a very short time, Live @ Best Buy has grown into a place where about 3 bands are playing every week to people who may have never heard their music had they not gone to a small night club in the East Village. Live @ Best Buy is quickly becoming known in the local artist community as the place to do what every musician wants to do…PLAY
