BIO: GRASS BACKARDZ was born in Tallapoosa Georgia in 2009 and is growing very quickly! Already well known in the Bluegrass industry all over the Southeast, Grass Backardz has carried its renowned members from Tripplet Virginia to Eunice New Mexico pickin and grinnin all the way!

Held under the belt of GRASS BACKARDZ is two memberships of The Atlanta Country Music Hall Of Fame in Atlanta Georgia. Known for being the fastest bluegrass band around, GRASS BACKARDZ has the ability to produce original songs that anyone can relate to as well as to put their own feelings into covering other material that people will remember and love. Let this serve as my introduction to Angie Hawkins and Larry Benefield.

My husband Tony Rice and I count them as close friends and very talented musicians and songwriters. Their personal material they have written is exceptional.

They have visited me in my home on two seperate occasions for a week each time allowing the wonderful opportunity of hearing them perform live all through their stays here.
