HANNAH BELLE
Frontier Days Concert
On September 25th, 2021 the annual “Frontier Days Festival” was again held in Tecumseh,
OK, USA. The annual festival took place in the town square at Main and Broadway. Beginning
with a large parade and culminating in a Street Dance on Broadway in front of the main stage.
Nashville recording artist, Hannah Belle, and crew reported to the stage early enough to
catch the first act and “hang out” with yours truly, blending in with the crowd and enjoying the
freedom of being “off the bus”. After introductions and shown the green room, they retired to
get ready for the show.
At 6pm, Hannah took the stage with command and proceeded to execute a well polished,
current and professional show. Singing mostly originals she penned herself, she brought a very
lively and fiery performance. Her vocals were spot on as well as the harmonies and excellent
performance of her band. During the show she interacted frequently with the crowd, especially
some young girls who flocked around the edge of the stage, whom she would later have a private
chat with.
After trying several times during the pandemic to get Hannah Belle to Oklahoma, we
finally succeeded, and were very blessed to have her here and on our stage. This young lady has
a great future and much to offer to the music industry. She will go far.
If you are looking for a fun and lively show for your stage, please consider Hannah Belle.
You won’t regret it. She is first class and really delivers.

"Hannah Belle shines light on Bridesmaid with new single"

New Country Music Available Now
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Lorman, Mississippi – April 15, 2020 – Hannah Belle had years of airwave love and was fresh off her nomination for Songwriter of the Year at the 2018 Nashville Universe Awards when she had to take a step back from it all to care for her father after his cancer diagnosis. Now she’s back, recharged, and ready to get back on the saddle with her latest single “Bridesmaid.”
With heavy slide guitar fills from Steve Hinson, and a grungy rock guitar lead from Brent Mason, “Bridesmaid” brings attitude to the forefront! “It’s an anthem to all of the girls who have stood by their friend’s side time after time just waiting for their day to come,” said Hannah. “It’s definitely not a stab at anyone’s happiness, it’s just a story that doesn’t get told very often and I’m glad to be the one to tell the story because I’ve been a bridesmaid a time or two.”
Hannah’s latest single comes after one of the most emotionally draining times of her life. “Everything just kind of stopped,” the country singer recalls of hearing of her father’s illness, “he was the driving force behind my success in the industry, and when he got sick, it all came to a screeching halt.” However, after some time her father was back to his ways and encouraged his daughter to get back to music and thus, her upcoming fourth studio album and “Bridesmaid” was born.
“I felt that writing was a way of releasing what I was feeling. It was a way for me to cope, and I really think some of my best writing came during that time.”
While the date for her upcoming album is still under wraps, Hannah Belle is proud to present “Bridesmaid” as a taste of what’s to come later this year. So those interested in adding new country to their playlists, featuring “Bridesmaid” on their site, or interviewing Hannah Belle for their podcast, site, or radio show can reach out via the information provided below.

Hannah Belle and her band were consummate professionals on both occasions they performed. Also, very friendly with our staff and crowd. "Hannah Belle at The Listening Room of Mobile"

Hannah is an outspoken beautiful blonde lady who seems right at home on the stage. She eases any anxiety you might have brought with you and she talks like she is your long-time friend. Her southern drawl is amazing. She comes from a place I had never heard of, Red Lick, Mississippi. She is a 4th grade school teacher who is happily married. Her father is a Baptist preacher…she spoke about the lessons she learned as a child. Her genre of music expertise is “Traditional Country”. She even remarked, “I’m from Red Lick, Mississippi, what else could I do?”
True to herself, Hannah teaches with her music. She has lessons in her lyrics that are inspirational and valuable. “I know just who I am”….”Stand up for what you believe”…”Keep your feet on the ground”…She also has a song she claims is corny but I call it delightful. I believe it was called “That’s Just Life”. She says “Life’s just not what its cracked up to be”…”Why can’t I have my cake and eat it too?”..”Grass ain’t always greener on the other side”…she even adds in a line she said she stole from Forrest Gump…”Life is like a box of Chocolates, you never know what you will get.”

My favorite song of Hannah Belle’s was about forgiveness.
I am a big believer in forgiving (it is the only way to set yourself free) Check Hannah Belle out on YouTube.com/Hannah Belle Forgive…she does a great job with her words and her expression of sheer agony over the process of forgiving.
Virtually all of Hannah Belle’s songs teach; they are lessons of the right way to live and the best way to be happy. To me she just GLOWS as a human being and it shows in her performance. Thank you Hannah Belle.
Thank you to Hannah Belle for your personality, your fabulous music and for being YOU - Juanita Smith

"Album Review"

Hannah Belle is at it again, delivering another exciting EP that has something for everyone and may have her fans trying to, “Catch Her If You Can.
With her junior release, this Mississippi native combines a variety of genres displaying a well-rounded Southern soul-filled offering to her growing fan base.
As she continues to hone her craft, her maturity is evident. With each stroke of her pen and each pluck of her guitar string, Hannah Belle delivers raw, authentic feeling and depth.
As music changes, it can be difficult for some artists to keep up; however, Hannah Belle pulls no punches as she mixes serious with fun and country with rock and pours her heart into each and every project.
Her stage presence is as memorable as her songwriting and the recent additions of music videos have allowed this small-town gal to gain more attention – and she is only getting started.
Her openness and wittiness are traits that help keep her grounded and playing the circuit of fairs, festivals, and songwriter venues allows her to remain close to the ones who cheer her success on – the fans.
Knowing what she wants to say and getting it out in song is certainly her strong suit and as her childhood dream continues to become a reality, one can only hope they catch her before she rockets to the big time. - Morgan Groover

"Catch Her If You Can Album Review 1"

Country artist Hannah Belle’s new EP – Catch Her If You Can, is her third release after two previous full-length albums, both of which are up to the same standard as the six songs on her latest offering which comes highly recommended for keeping up with her past works. Hannah’s progress has been steady. She has polished her skills, performing at fairs and festivals in Mississippi and surrounding states, while sharing the stage with the likes of Sawyer Brown, Diamond Rio, Bucky Covington, T Graham Brown, Jo’elSonnier, Shenandoah, Joe Diffie, and Josh Thompson, just to name a few. This is her stomping ground. And that’s why it kicks off with the fun-loving sounds of “Stomping Ground” itself. This opener rocks it up with some great banjo and an awesome chorus. But the guitars win me over as much as anything else. They have a blistering effect as they soar over the arrangement. And the music in general is first rate. It’s a classic country rocker with all the bells and whistles. Her sassy spot-on vocals top off the whole track. There is a lot of moxie to this, as a crossover track with muscular chops. It keeps up with the best around in country and rock music today.
“UnSouthern” is a lot more straight-forward classic country music, with maybe a little country-pop going for it. But traditionally it is a good tune with a less modern style to it. The vocals are more Patsy Cline style than the previous track, which just go to show the diversity on display. I like it though, because it contains elements of both varieties. And then there is “Forgive” with its exquisite ballad offering. This is where it gets undeniably awesome and if you haven’t heard Hannah before, you’ll likely be drawn in by her voice by now, which is a thing of beauty. And she nails it with everything she’s got. It’s a breath of fresh air to hear up to this point and glad to say beyond it until the end of this EP. It comes close to almost being more like and album because the songwriting, playing and singing are so good. “Raised” is another great track that pretty much explains the values within as well. Standing up for what is right, Hannah brings a lot to the table with every plate she lays down on it. This has a down home feel to it, with an essence of her gospel roots. You feel what she’s singing, and it just doesn’t stop. It comes on strong and hangs in with every track because it delivers in every department.
“I Can’t Make You Happy” is another fine track that shows there is no filler to be found on the disc, as it showcases her vocals that manage to make it all over the place here. If anything, this sounds more like easy listening than country, rock or pop. It’s radio-friendly no matter how you slice it. “Catch Her If You Can” takes it out, with the title track surprisingly saved for the last. But safe to say it’s not the least. Sometimes that is the case, sometimes not. But with Hannah Belle it’s good to report that all is in great shape, from her two albums right up to this hot EP, which could’ve only used a brighter sound to help it. - Larry Toering of Vents Magazine

"Catch Her If You Can Album Review 2"

Hannah Belle’s Catch Her If You Can – is an EP that works on every level to compete with her two albums. Both of which contain some great stuff as well, like “Little Town Square,” “Porchin’ It” and “Preacher’s Daughter” to name just a few. She’s maturing like fine wine and this EP proves she can last at her craft. From her gospel leanings to her country and pop rock prowess, she brings six new tracks to freshen things up. To start with, “Stomping Ground” she gets the groove on with a killer opener to set the show on the road. A song that contains everything a rocking country good time needs, from excellent vocals to banjo. It’s one of the three highlights on the EP, with a few others I will mention as they come. There is nothing negative to be said about this artist, and the same goes for her music. If you hear anything from the get go, it’s that much. “UnSouthern” is a less that serious approach to basically the same speed of track. It helps keep the blood boiling and she gets a few funny one liners out that give it lots of charm, as well as a wavering violin outro, which gets a little pluck at the very end, to be musically funny. These two tracks go together well, and the tempo is just right between them.

There’s no need to critique the songwriting, singing, playing and production on this release. It’s all a first class showing from all involved, but an EP length is the only issue to point out. However, a lot of singles and EP’s are still coming by the ton either way. With the next track “Forgive” she goes full on balladeer songstress and it’s a great contrast to the previous energy, to keep focus on Hannah’s singing. Another great song is the result. And that stays true also on the next track “Raised” which is another highlight about standing your ground with the value you grew up on. It’s all about lessons and she does a good job of laying a few of them out, keeping it real all the way. The guitar carries this with a clever riff and some sweeping acoustic parts to spice it up. “I Can’t Make You Happy” slows down again with some lovely piano on another great ballad that drives a little faster than the former one. And while it’s not one of the EP’s highlights, it’s still a solid track with a lot of classic appeal. Hannah Belle has a background in not only gospel but classic country as well, and this displays some of those values involved in the structure of the classic country artists who pioneered it. All good things must come to an end, and although this EP plays long, it’s still an EP. It helps to pack them with as much punch as possible, and taking it to the highest level you can, to have the impact of a full-length release. Putting “Catch Her If You Can” as the finale was the right move to make you want to push play again once it’s all over. This is the third highlight from my perspective because it ends just as well as it starts, and that’s just one reason why this is such a good EP. It’s very consistent and just as good as here two full album releases. It makes a very good addition to them. - Elvin Graham

Bio

“Music has always been at the heart of my family,” says Hannah when asked how it all started. “From a family gospel band, to singing along with Faith Hill and Shania Twain, then jamming out to Creedence Clearwater Revival, music was a part of everything we did.” Hannah grew up in rural Mississippi in a place called Red Lick. “There wasn’t too much to do around there. Town was 30 miles away… so on a normal day you could find me working outside with the animals or singing my heart out with a karaoke machine in my bedroom.”

Hannah began her career singing in church. With her dad being a Baptist preacher, she always had the opportunity to get on a stage and perform… and that’s exactly what she did. “We had a family band, and my part was to play my red tambourine and sing my heart out,” she laughed, “and I loved every minute of it. I knew that I was meant to be a performer.” Throughout high school you could find her singing at any event at school, performing at local town festivals, and even singing the National Anthem for the Dixie National Rodeo in Jackson, MS. But Hannah always knew there was more inside of her than just singing other artist’s music. “I knew there was more to this.. I loved singing all of the classics from Patsy Cline to Loretta Lynn. My favorites to cover were Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, and Patty Loveless, but I wanted to sing my songs.”

In 2007, she graduated from high school and headed to college. That’s where her songwriting journey began. “I wrote my first song sitting in a piano practice room at Mississippi College. I had been wanting to write for a long time, but nothing would ever come.” After many prayers and almost giving up, she sat down to the piano and the words flowed. “I was so excited! I had tried for so long, and finally it happened. It lit a fire under me and ignited a passion I always knew was there.”

From there, Hannah continued to write and inevitably recorded her first original album titled “Chasing Thunder” produced by Ernie Rowell and recorded at Fun House Studios in Nashville, TN. “It felt so good to put my words out there, and the title “Chasing Thunder” was so fitting because it summed up what I was trying to do… chase a dream of being successful in the music business which is so hard to accomplish, something that might not ever happen.” But success did happen for Hannah! With two more original albums under her belt, “Preacher’s Daughter” and “Catch Her if You Can,” Hannah was chosen as a Country Music Association Emerging Artist from 2013-2017 where she was honored with her very own booth in the Music City Center to meet and greet with fans from all over the world at the CMA Fan Fair X during CMA Fest. On top of that, she was honored with a nomination for “Songwriter of the Year” at the 2017 Nashville Universe Awards. She had also polished her skills as a performer, performing at fairs and festivals in Mississippi and the Southeast Region while sharing the stage with big named artists such as Sawyer Brown, Frankie Ballard, Diamond Rio, Bucky Covington, T Graham Brown, Jo’el Sonnier, Shenandoah, Joe Diffie, and Josh Thompson, just to name a few. And she was able to make another one of her childhood dreams come true by filming several music videos that had much success with one claiming a top 5 spot in the Independent Country Music Association awards and her others being picked up by Great American Country, CMT, and The Country Network.

It seemed that everything was falling into place for Hannah and her career, but then tragedy struck her family. Having already recovered from major heart surgery months before, Hannah’s dad, Paul, was diagnosed with cancer. “Everything just kind of stopped. He was the driving force behind my success in the industry, and when he got sick, it all came to a screeching halt.” Hannah’s focus turned solely to the wellbeing of her father leaving music by the wayside. After over a year of fighting the terrible disease, the family heard the news that they were longing for…”Your dad is cancer free.”

After overcoming so much, Paul encouraged Hannah to get back in the saddle and continue on her musical journey. She had never stopped writing and had even challenged herself to write more during the times of struggle and heartache. That’s when they decided to head back into the studio to make her fourth album. With new original music and a reignited passion, Hannah is ready to take on whatever comes next. “I feel like it’s a new beginning for me. I don’t know what’s next or where I am going from here… All I know is music is my heart, songwriting is my passion, performing in front of crowd is when I am the happiest, and I am meant to be a part of the country music family.”
