My first impression of Hipshot was that it was authentic. The band was always in the groove. So contagious, it has a regular diverse crowd up on the floor. I love the authentic funk of the bass and guitars. Great showmanship here with retrostyled Pam Grier look alike and a great tenor. But everyone sings including the drummer, so the set list goes from Motown to Bruno Mars. Maybe my favorite thing about Hipshot is surprising intros from song to song, It feels like a non-stop dance party! - Vira DeFilippo
