In a society where conformity has all but become the norm, Hunny Brwn has always pushed against the boundaries. Her music cannot be classified as simply R&B or Soul either. It's not exclusively sensual, urban, or classic but a myriad of genres meshed together almost effortlessly by this rising star. Hunny Brwn's music is reflective of her personality- energetic and edgy with hints of explosive power and subtle vulnerability.

A gifted vocalist whose instrument is both strong and seductive, Mississippi born songstress Hunny Brwn began honing her skills at an early age. As a teen, she started writing and performing at various events and venues around the state. It wasn't long before her talents gifted her with opportunities to work with other aspiring artists and musicians such as Billboard charting Jazz Newcomer, Jace Nicholas. "It's undeniable that performing is my passion. I feel such an immense sense of freedom and I just simply come to life. I know in my heart of hearts that this is what I was meant to do !" 

  
Choosing the indie route, Hunny Brwn released her first single, Let's Be Honest, along with it's visual, on February 14, 2018. She released her first project, Let's Be Honest the EP, in June 2018. She will follow up with a mixtape later in the year and a full-length album subsequently thereafter.

"I don't focus on writing about what's popular. I take from my everyday experiences and try to bring them to life in my music. That's what makes it honest, imperfect, and multi-faceted. If at least one person can relate to my words, I have achieved my goal." That refreshing outlook and ability to capture various musical essences will surely keep listeners' intrigued and ensures that Hunny Brwn will continue making music for years to come.
