This is one of  my favorites from the album, as well as it is for a lot of people, a precious ballad with a brazilian feel to it... You & Me. This is the last song of the Metamorphosis Birthday Series, but I am going to write 3 more newsletters talking about my singles, since I didn´t have the chance to tell you about those.

How did we come up with You & Me? It was in my second trip to Miami in 2007 (May if I'm not mistaken). Frankie told me about this song that was playing in the radio, very simple but absolutely beautiful, with an acoustic guitar and very little percussion. At that time we didn't know who was singing, but the next day we asked our very good friend and artist Rico Williams and we found out it was Robin Thicke with his infamous ¨Lost Without You¨. After listening to it I don't have to mention that I loved it, right? So we started brainstorming about creating a song like that, very simple, that would make the audience fall in love with it.

A couple of days after we invited guitar player Michel Boza (aka Wahero) to record some guitars for our idea for ¨You & Me¨.  After that... it was all very fast, we had the melody & lyrics ready that same week.

After coming back to Barcelona, Mr. Frankie Biggz travelled to Canada to record with egipcian percussionist Diaa Tass at Little Chicago Studios, with our friend Tim Greencorn.

So after all that, we had to record final vocals, and since Mr. Greencorn is amazing with microphones, preamps and so on and so forth we took a trip to Ottawa to record my final performace. Sounds pretty good, uh? I totally love it, I think it's the best performance of the album, to be honest.
