Hi everybody!

Even though we don´t celebrate Thanksgiving in Spain, I am now in the USA, so it´s holiday time here! I do have a lot of things to thank for, after all these years I now have the opportunity to do what I really really love, express myself through music.

Besides that, I do thank the fact this time I WILL spend Christmas at my home in Spain with my family, that makes me really happy because I miss them very much. Plus, we have something else to celebrate this time, because my cousin Carlos and his wife, Miriam, are gonna be parents!! So next year, we will have one more in the family!!

Anywayz, last week we were working really hard on new songs for the next album, songwriting and recording the first demos. I feel this time I can really be involved in the creation process of the album, since this time I´m not travelling back and forth from Spain, as I was with ¨Metamorphosis¨. I have time to sit down and write together and choose a little bit more what I like and what I don´t about the tracks. Plus, we have awesome musicians (The Music), this time involved from beginning to end of this record. We are a big family!!

More things, just for your information, just got word my visa has been extended one more year, so I will be here in the USA one more year, at least...

Last Friday, as I told you in my last newsletter, I was interviewed at the show Sumatra: The Bold, Strong & Smooth, it was a really interesting interview and we talked about my influences, my job and my future projects. If you missed it and want to listen to the interview, you can do it here. Next Saturdau I will be the guest at The Home Solutions Show w. Jack Dever, it´s a show about home improvements, where they tell you tricks for making your house look nicer, they also have music guests, like me! I hope they don´t ask me much about home improvements, because I really have no idea about how to do it... LOL!

There is not much more to talk about today, we are taking some time out of touring (about a month or so) to focus on the recording of the new album, so you will have to wait a little to see IreneB & The Music live again. By the way, don´t forget to keep on voting at whotune.com, we only have 5 days left to vote!
