There is a present that exists between Heaven and Earth, and it´s called the Rainbow Bridge.

When a pet that´s been loved by somebody here on Earth dies, it goes there, to the Rainbow Bridge. There are valleys and mountains there where all our special friends run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sun, and our friends are comfortable and taken care of. All the ones that have been sick, were old or were hurt go back to health and they look and feel younger, they are stronger again, the same way we remember them in our dreams and past times. These animals are happy, except for one little thing: everyone of them misses that somebody that was special for them and they had to leave behind.

All of them run together, but one day one of them stops and looks to the horizon. His bright eyes try to focus on that person, his body starts trembling and his tail moving. He suddenly leaves the group, almost flying through the green grass, moving his paws faster & faster.

YOU have been spotted, and when you and your friend finally meet, you hugh each other in a beatiful embrace, to never ever be far from each other again. A rain of kisses showers your face, your hands can caress again that lovely little face, and you can look at last into his trusting eyes, the eyes of your pet, gone so long ago, but never away from your heart.
