We have a winner for our remix contest!

Posted By IreneB from Orlando, FL October 22, 2009

Hello everybody!

How is everything? I am a little tired and feeling like recording again. Lately I've been so busy with  the "Dedicated" promotion that I left recording for a while. Let's see if next week we can keep on recording songs for my next album. We are preparing some surprises, so you guys have to keep your fingers crossed for us to make it happen... We are also receiving submissions of producers and songwriters for possible placing on the album, so if you know anybody that would be interested tell them! Just remember we are looking for a 90's R&B feel...

And talking about producers... We have a winner for the "Dedicated" remix contest! His name is Paul Meyer and he is from Madrid, Spain! I am very happy to give this prize to a Spaniard, that shows we have talent! We had a difficult task, there were a lot of good remixes and every one had a different flavour to it! We finally went with Paul's house remix, very cool! You can listen to the remix at www.ramamusic.com and buy it on iTunes and Amazon very soon!

More things... I have a couple benefit events here in Florida. The first one is next week at Sventh Day Chuch in Daytona Beach, it is the oldest church in Volusia County and they want to close it down because they cannot pay taxes! So we have to do something! The other event where I'm going to sing is a fund-raiser for Wendy Wilkening, a neighbour from Sanford that had an accident skating and had brain damage. Since we still don't have free health care in the US (go Obama go! yes, we can!) they need help from you to get the funds for all her medical treatments. So if you're around come along, it would be nice to see you... they are going to have food, games, and Twiggy, the water skiing squirrel! :)

Personally talking, I am really excited because next week I am going to see Boyz II Men perform for the second time (first time it was in Paris in 2005 with my friends, we had a blast!). It is the best of living here in the US, you get to see artists that would've never go to Spain, and be close to them, because people here see them as "neighbors" while we see them as idols. I'll tell you about the experience...

More things... for those who don't know I have a chance to go play in Los Angeles if you guys can help me. You just have to go to www.whotune.com and register. Once you've done that you can go to http://whotune.com/#page=hearThis , look for me and VOTE! You can vote as much as you want clicking the "BACK" button and come back and repeat your vote!

No more news for now... See ya soon!
