"Jomor Swift Drops Off His New Record, “Relentless”"

Technically, he should’ve called it Resurrection. After all, he did almost die, after breaking his back and being bed ridden for over a year.

Rapper Jomor Swift is undeniably cool. He has a very intriguing and inspiring story, overcoming crazy odds, something hip-hop fans can connect to. At first, he was a DJ, but his career ended prematurely after he suffered the life-changing injuries that caused him to be bedridden for a year. Despite his difficulties, he was still in love with music; primarily, a soul/trap sound. Since he couldn’t DJ anymore, he learned how to make beats and rap.

“Being relentless means never giving up, stand for something fall for nothing!” – @JomorSwift
His brother built him a studio in the backyard, which inspired him to produce this album, which he called Genesis, a tribute to starting over, and new beginnings, inspired by the first book in the Bible.

Check out his new record “Relentless,” below which will be followed up by his new project, Genesis, dropping this, Tuesday, January 27. - The Source

"Jomor Swift - Gene$is (Album)"

Man, Atlanta just keeps on churning out dope talent! Up next on our radar is former DJ-turnt-emcee/producer, Jomor Swift.

During his DJ days, Jomor broke his back and was bed ridden for a year. Since he couldn't jump on the tables, and still wanting to stay in music, he learned to rap and produce. His brother built him a studio in his backyard (as shown in the cover art above) and that's where GENE$IS was formed.

There's no big name features or producers involved. Just a talented ATLien sharing his story after recording an album during one of his biggest triumphs. - 2DopeBoyz

"Jomor Swift – Genesis LP (Album Stream)"

Atlanta rapper Jomor Swift doesn’t sound like most of the artists coming out of ATL right now. His delivery is more controlled, his tone is more introspective, and from the start of his Gene$is album.

Don’t take my word for it though, take a listen for yourself after the jump! - HipHopSince1987

"VIDEO PREMIERE: JOMOR SWIFT – “RELENTLESS”"

Jomor Swift impressed with his Gene$is album, and he revisits it to turn in the video for standout track “Relentless.” The Atlanta DJ-turned-rapper has a crazy story (read a little about it here) and brings a calculated, disciplined delivery and a sense of urgency that comes across in the first visual from the project. Watch it above. - P&P

"LISTEN TO JOMOR SWIFT’S MIXTAPE, “GENESIS”"

From the start of his Gene$is album—it starts with him rapping over “Stairway To Heaven”—it’s obvious that Jomor Swift is about to unleash something deeper than the next album full of trap hits and strip club anthems.

"JOMOR SWIFT – “GENESIS”"

Atlanta has been breeding some of today’s most popular rappers, but if there’s one thing those rappers have in common, it’s their strip club anthem sound, which we love – but we can use something different. Enter Jomor Swift, hailing from ATL, but bringing something new to the table. It’s clear to see he’s not like everyone else – his album starts with him rapping over the classic Led Zeppelin hit, “Stairway to Heaven.” Check out the project, titled “Genesis” here. - Mechanical Dummy
