About 6 weeks ago my buddy, Chris Dilts (Lighthouse Events), called and said that he needed to get me up there in Maine with him to meet a bunch of people to start opening some doors to bring Justpassingthru up to Maine. So, 3 weeks ago, I flew up to Portland on a credit card, with the hope of meeting promoters, media outlets and radio stations and getting in a few gigs to offset the cost of the trip...

I have to say that it was NON-STOP!! From the moment I flew into the airport Thursday night until I got back to the airport on Sunday night to return back to my beloved Dirty Jersey (NJ). And Chris was truly my partner-in-crime for the weekend! I think I counted at least 3 tanks full of gas for the weekend -- we were all over Maine and New Hampshire

This is the second time recently, I've had this huge sense of something going on WAY BIGGER than me. And that the only thing we really could do was throw open our arms and beg God to direct and use us (The other time recently was while we -- Justpassingthru -- were filming for the FUSE TV reality show -- check out the CRAZY THINGS that went down for this at www.TruLoveRocks.com).

I got to share our story about the FUSE TV filming a few times, play in Portland at the Lost Coin Cafe, do a LIVE radio interview with Revolution Radio (Concord, NH) that was TOTALLY CRAZY times, lead worship at Augusta First Church (Augusta,ME) with Pastor Kevin O (I still can't stop thinking about the amazing coffee drink he made me!!). On top of this I met with some amazing people that are STILL encouraging me -- wow! -- Doug Elder (The Wrecking), Leeanne Hewey (Trinity Media), Jeff and Chris (Lighthouse Events, of course!), Lynn (Stepping Stone Productions), and so many others.

I have to say that it was amazing to be meeting with the people who are truly broken about the need to touch the heart of Maine through the medium of Christian music. Wow! Have to say that Maine and all of New England and parts of Canada are TRULY BLESSED to have people like Jeff and Chris from Lighthouse Events that are literally pouring out their lives to bring light and hope to you guys up there!! Everyone I met is truly a ROCKSTAR!

I know that my Maine Weekend is just the BEGINNING of some of the crazy ways that God loves to work. Maine, I CANNOT wait to bring the rest of the guys up to rock your socks and lead some worship!!!

This may have been a bit rambly and hard to read - but I HAD to get it out... Isn't that the way God works sometimes!?!?!

PS -- if anyone tells you that MySpace is the devil (well, they may be right) BUT God hooked me up with Chris Dilts. Hopefully some day he'll be as blessed as I've been to to know him.
