J.R. Cole is a country cover / original band from Robstown, Texas. J.R. is originally from Robstown, Texas, now living further south in the Rio Grande Valley. A member of the law enforcement community for the last decade, he pours his heart and soul into all things, including his music. Influences pulled from genres spanning rock, country, pop, soul and many others, can be seen through stylistic choices in both the sound and delivery of the music.
The band is made up of five members with a diverse background! The band strives to stay true to a Texas sound, while also embracing the big sound of Nashville. J.R. Cole performs a multitude of covers ranging from Luke Combs, Travis Tritt, down to Cody Johnson. J.R. has currently released three original songs available on all streaming platforms, with the debut single titled "Hey, Me" and subsequent singles titled "Country Ain't Done" and "Untamed," respectively. J.R.'s fourth single titled "Here Alone" is set to hit all platforms on January 19, 2024 and serves to be the best one yet! "Here Alone," a soul-stirring country rock ballad that delves into the depths of heartbreak and the haunting reality of losing a love that cannot be reclaimed, is one you don't want to miss!
