“I have said this before-and I will say it again. We should get the Judge Parker band from Arkansas on the cruise.A great band who have three excellent CDs out: Judge Parker (self titled)-1998. Sound Medicine-2004. Along For The Ride-2009. I have all three and love this Southern Rock band. Some great songwriting/songs and music.I cannot understand why they have not made it "big time" yet. They are currently doing a European tour and I went to see them in Amsterdam the other day. They played excellent live-doing songs to promote the latest CD, some songs from some of the older CDs and some great covers of songs by Stevie Gaines (Crawdaddy) and some Allman Brothers-for variety. I spoke with members of the band and they would like to be on the cruise. If you have'nt seen them yet-check them out if they come to a town near you-and check out the music (above).I don't think you would be disappointed!” - Pale Sailor

"Ken Yates"

“They can play covers with the best of them, but it's their original music that stands out. People love it.” - Muskogee Phoenix

"Darrell Briggs"

"It's just flatass sittin' around on a Saturday afternoon jammin' kinda music. It's even good if the beer's warm." - Oklahoma Biker

Bio

A name drawn from the historic Arkansas Territory Hanging Judge, "Issac C. Parker". This band is also from the same town of Fort
Smith, Arkansas. Years of hard work, dedication and just "Hangin' in
There", has made Judge Parker famous again, this time for music.
Brothers Larry and Arthur Pearson formed the band with a southern rock,
country and blues flair. Staying true to their roots gave them a kind of
sound that classic rock and southern rock fans thought was long gone.
While on tour in Texas, they met William Lee Golden of the Oak Ridge
Boys. Golden saw something very special in this Arkansas band that
really fired him up. He gave Larry his home number that night and said,
"You need to come to Nashville, I beleive in you guys, I love your music
and I want to help you". Everything was finally looking up, they were
now getting attention from Golden's contacts from Nashville, New York
and L.A.

Since then, Judge Parker has become well known by
doing an average of 200 dates per year. Judge Parker has also shared the
stage with Johnny Cash, June Carter, Big and Rich, Shooter Jennings,
Chris Ledoux, Marshall Tucker, Confederate Railroad, Kentucky
Headhunters, Molly Hatchet, Black Oak Arkansas, .38 Special, Foghat,
Jackyl, Dr. Hook, David Alan Coe and many more.

This band is
also generous enough to give their time and help to raise money for many
organizations such as; Feed the Children, American Cancer Society,
S.I.D.S., Battered Women,Childrens Hospitals, Humane Society's and the
list goes on. With a dynamic band of musicians, this act has everything
that fans and talent buyers love.
