"Kajmir Kwest is Perfectly Imperfect"

When it comes to being musically inclined, Kajmir Kwest is not a new person in the recording business and has made a name for himself...To read more click on link above about the clothing sponsorship..... - Rude Boy Magazine

"Man of Purpose"

I sat down with Kajmir Kwest, a brother in Christ I met a month ago after hearing him perform. His performance grasped my attention as he ministered through rap, not only because of the message he conveyed through his creative lyricism, but also because of the testimony he shared...... You must read this testimony of How God used this brother... Click link above... - Nikki Coleman for ITT Magazine

Discography

Kajmir Kwest is an artist that started out in Hardcore Hip Hop and learned the hard way the lifestyle that was glamorized in the lyrics he wrote about from Hustle and Playeristic appeal lead to broken dreams and hearts who's end result could possibly land you in prison physically and mentally. His projects really encourages the heart of mankind to understand they are created Perfectly Imperfect.  In this life we live in a society where we tend to try to live up to the expectation that is set by what social media floods into our psyche. His projects paints very clear pictures poetically of how we're perfect with every flaw, as a matter of fact it's our flaws that make us perfect in our creators eye.  In our weaknesses is when He is made strong.  Let's not try to live up to what everyone else wants us to be but what God has purposed us to be.  You don't have to be perfect, to be who you want, to get what you want, to achieve what you want, it's a lie.  You're Perfectly Imperfect and thats perfect because God makes no mistakes.  Kajmir Kwest does a really good job at encouraging mankind to seek God for validation and not man, also to see evil is present with us always but we all have the ability to do good through Christ.  His creations from production to the conceptual substance in his writing will have heads nodding, hands clapping while inspiring generations to come.  When listening to a Kajmir Kwest creation the westcoast admiration bleeds, the conceptual substance encourages you to examine your plight in life and rise above any mistakes, failures or past regrets.  Kajmir Kwest says, "My hope is that after listening to my heartbeat through this music it strikes a chord to remind you to not lose hope but allow trials to strengthen you to encourage someone else to Triumph when their very own mind is telling them if you make mistakes or are not made perfect you will fail, that too is a lie."  Being made Perfectly Imperfect is a story gift wrapped to encourage the entire world if you just share it and/or allow God to unwrap the gift that lies within each of us.

Bio

A man, a boy and a dream.  Hailing from South Central Los Angeles, Kajmir Kwest’s beginning’s shaped what would soon become the rhythm to the beat featured on his recent release, Elevator.  Born as Jerry Lee Thompson, Jr., Kwest’s quest to find his voice as a Christian rapper didn’t start as smooth and straight as it would appear to a bystander.  Often carrying a genuine smile and a warm hello, his demeanor overpowers the pain, the heartache and the struggle of his yesteryears.

From the beginning, Kwest’s identity was challenged after being birthed into a tumultuous relationship between a homosexual man and a lesbian woman who mistook the other for the opposite sex.  Learning of his father’s being didn’t come until 12 years old, as he was absent during Kwest’s formative years.  Some would view his very existence as a grave mistake, but Kwest would soon learn about destiny and  it’s purpose in his own story.
