I'm just an average guy.

I grew up partly on a little makeshift farm in my hometown of Stillwater, OK and partly in my Father's music store in Hendersonville, TN.

I was born at Midnight on Sep. 21st/22nd, 1982. I like to use this for my own greedy devices when it comes time for a free Birthday dinner.

I like black & white photography. 

I like music that sounds like black & white photography.

I don't believe you have to be a Redneck to be Country. What's more Country than living in a Tree?

I like trying to marry rural nostalgia & swedish/japanese design, with sound. 

I see skies of cottage cheese and forests of shag carpet fibers...

I believe that when something proves to be Timeless it is usually because it is simple, unique, profound & universal, simultaneously.

I believe we are all here for a reason and I believe that that reason is to learn and that whatever you may be going through, you are growing through.

I believe that music/molecular vibration is the strongest force on our planet, and perhaps in the universe. It has been proven scientifically that when something is done with the intent of what we call "Love", it changes the vibrational rate of organic matter to be more vibrant, healthy, strong and alive. Music is the most efficient way for us to all accomplish this.

I am pretty excitable about the small things in life. I recently got a used 'Lakewood' space heater for my studio. I called everyone and told them about it.

I am better at giving advice to old friends than taking advice from new ones.

I don't like using the word 'I' very much, and I wish there was an alternative other than 'We', which makes me sound like a corporate entity, or like I am speaking for everyone or a mentally disturbed individual.

We think that we are all connected.

I find paradoxes intellectually profound.
I find riddles to be cheap manipulations of the anomalies of the modern barbaric English vernacular, but amusing.

In grade school, the teachers couldn't decide whether to put me in the 'advanced, accelerated learners class' or the 'challenged remedial class'... Either way I would've had to ride the short bus.

I want to die with a book underneath my pillow instead of a gun.

I use google to spellcheck sometimes.

Roy Orbison was like an uncle to me when I was a little boy.

I love strong, intellectual, witty, funny, classy girls.

I prefer 'the awkward turtle' to 'the finger pyramid of evil contemplation'.

My Father was the youngest of Nine brothers and sisters.
All of the kids were given names that started with the letter 'L'. Many of my aunts and uncles married people with 'L' Names, usually one that wasn't already in the Family, Uncle Levon Married Aunt Lorraine. My Father; Larry Argill, married my Mother; Lynnetta Kay. Subsequently, all of the first generations kids were named with 'L's and then their kids were named with 'L's (my older brother's name is Larran and his daughter's names are Lael & Mason Lynne)... I am the youngest of all of my first cousins, I think there is around 30 of us.

I am often intrigued by girls who's names begin with the letter 'L'.

My name means Squire or Apprentice.

Demetri Martin, George Carlin, Mitch Hedberg & Steven Wright are my absolute favorite comedians.

My Mother was raised in a Grain Silo in Oklahoma, with a dirt floor and a hole cut out of the tin for a door. They had no running water, no electricity and they trapped, fished and gardened for their food. I think it's ironic that so many people are returning to similar living environments, but in nice layered clothes, central heat & air, and checking stock prices on macbooks.

I like Sandra Bullock & Zooey Deschanel.

I think that cooking is the best analogy for songwriting and production.

I believe that you should know what's been done so that when you create, the human race is not merely repeating itself.

I believe that artists should have something to say.
