What: SPCA of Texas’ Biggest Party for Pets and People! The SPCA of Texas’ 7^th annual      Strut Your Mutt fun walk/run presented by VCA Animal Hospital Companies will be held on Saturday, April 28^th at Fair Park in Dallas. Register online today for only $35 at www.strutyourmutt.info (pooches and kids 11 and under are free). And although dogs are encouraged to come, they are not required. Don’t forget all dogs are required to be on leash and current on vaccinations.

The festivities begin at 8 a.m. by the Tower Building at Fair Park in downtown Dallas and the fun run and walk will kick off at 9 a.m. The Radio Disney AM 620 Road Crew will provide non-stop interactive entertainment including music, activities and prizes. The local trio, Lantana, will perform some of their edgy, country hits for everyone to enjoy during the event.

In addition to the walk, we will have plenty of family-fun events for you to enjoy including puppy play pools, an agility course, a kids’ zone complete with a bounce house, hula hoops and more, and of course Musical Sit & Stay to play with your pets.

Everyone who registers can also help the SPCA of Texas raise funds by participating in the all-new and fabulous fundraising challenge. Those who can't be at Strut Your Mutt that day may register as Lazy Dogs and participate in fundraising challenges. Online registration is available until Friday, April 27 at 9 a.m. but registration will also be open at the event.

Top fundraisers win prizes such as: SPCA of Texas logo wear, iPod Nano touch, Kindle Fire, 24” flat screen TV, iPad 2 and more

Parking: Parking is free. Please enter in Gate 5, Grand Ave.

Booth Setup:  On the event date, please note that set-up for your booth can begin at 6:30 am and must be completed by 7:45 am. The unloading area is available at 3809 Grand Ave, Dallas, TX 75210. You will be able to drive your vehicle to the Tower Building to unload, then move it to the parking lot. You must unload by 7 am to drive your vehicle into the event area.

You will receive a reminder message and event booth map the week of the event to the email address you provided. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the event, your participation or set-up.

General Information: Strut Your Mutt is a rain or shine event. In the instance that the event must be cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, vendor fees are non-refundable.

There are limited electrical connections available at the booths. Please plan accordingly.

Items given out should be safe for children and pets – no chocolate. Please ask owners before giving their pets a treat due to possible food allergies.

Sponsors will be provided with one 6’ table and two chairs in a 10’X10’ space. If sponsors require extra tables or chairs, they may rent additional items through SPCA of Texas or provide their own.

SPCA of Texas will determine the location for each sponsor/vendor’s space. Any locations determined prior to the event day may be changed or altered on the day of the event by event staff.

Sponsors/Vendors can begin set-up on Friday, April 27 in the afternoon. The event building will be locked over night; however, the SPCA of Texas is not liable for any theft, injury or damage.
