LAV.ISH is an independent Hip Hop/Pop group originally from Iowa City. The five-piece group formed in in 2017 when they released their debut single, Pass it Around". LAV.ISH recorded their debut album, "With a Dot in the Middle", in their basement in Des Moines, IA.
The Midwestern group’s first major breakthrough took place in September of 2018 when LAV.ISH opened for nationally-acclaimed star Lizzo at the University of Iowa Homecoming Concert. Recently, LAV.ISH hit the one million stream milestone on Spotify, and they continue to gain momentum as they release singles on a monthly basis. The group has a collection of singles recorded for release over the next year, as they shift their focus out of the studio and onto the live stage, touring nationally throughout 2020.
