Macaro, Bishai and Deitch Jazz Trio

The Macaro, Bishai and Deitch Jazz Trio performs what they call "feelgood jazz". This means they perform a soulful version of jazz that everyone of all ages can appreciate. These three seasoned pros are a "spinoff" of the renowned Ray Charles tribute Forever Ray. Hailing from Berklee College of Music (Macaro & Deitch) and the University of Miami (Bishai), this wonderful jazz trio has performed together for more than ten years.

Joe Macaro- Bassist

Joe Macaro was on the faculty at the Rutgers University Jazz Department, where he taught jazz theory and bass.  He has accompanied artists such as Ben Vereen, Liza Minnelli, the cast of the Sopranos as well as the Miss America pageants in Atlantic City. He is also a contributing columnist for Bass Player Magazine.

Eddy Bishai- Piano

Bobby is an accomplished drummer, songwriter, producer, music professor at 2 NYC area colleges. He has performed with notable musicians in funk, jazz and pop bands throughout the eastern United States. His performing credits include George Porter jr. (Meters), Karl Denson, Lettuce and several well-known artists. He is also a recording artist with his own original band, Bobby Deitch Band.
